Reorganization for Employee Recognition Solutions Provider
September 04, 2009
Michael C. Fina, a global employee recognition solutions company, implemented a strategic reorganization of its senior leadership this summer.

The reorganization is intended to better accommodate the company's growth by allowing key stakeholders to focus on their specialized areas of expertise.

Ashley Fina moved from vice president of international business development to president. The company says Ashley Fina played an integral role in its international expansion, and that she looks forward to overseeing its continued growth into new markets. "By shifting roles at Michael C. Fina, we created a more efficient and nimble organization that will strengthen our position in the U.S. and abroad, while also allowing us to better serve the needs our customers," she says.

The company says its leadership reorganization allows for a more well-defined span of control across three critical areas of the business. George Fina moved from president to chief strategy officer. Michael A. Fina, executive vice president of technology and innovation, will supervise the development and maintenance of the systems that drive the company's recognition programs. Jeffrey Fina, executive vice president of business development and innovation, will oversee the expansion of recognition product offerings, as well as all marketing efforts. Steven Fina, executive vice president of retail operations, will continue to oversee the retail division of Michael C. Fina.

"It's very exciting to see the third generation of our family continue to drive the business and lead our organization into the future," says George Fina. "With the generational shift in today's workforce as a whole, it is critical that we keep a fresh outlook on our industry."
