Academic Professionals Rank Training and Development Satisfaction Lowest

Academic professionals scored lowest when asked about their satisfaction with the training and development they received compared to employees from other industries, according to a survey by HR Solutions, Inc. Here are their responses to the following statements:


• Orientation for new employees is adequate: 45 percent favorable.

• The organization provides effective on-the-job training: 55 percent favorable.

• I am satisfied with the training I have received to perform my job: 59 percent favorable.
