When it comes to closing the deal, lessons can be learned from the winners of the 14th Annual Sales Excellence Awards, sponsored by Incentive and sister publication of Sales & Marketing Management. The presentation of awards in five different categories took place at the IMRA Marketing Conference held earlier this month in San Diego, California. All of the Sales Excellence Award winners were selected by the manufacturer members of IMRA based on the ability to set the bar for performance.
"In an industry built on recognizing people, the Sales Excellence Awards are an opportunity to showcase some of the most successful, innovative and customer focused independent sales representatives in the marketplace," says Kate Marie, executive director of IMRA. "They represent a chance for the manufacturers to credit those that have worked for them throughout the year and truly say thank you."
Winners of the 14th Annual Sales Excellence Awards are as follows: Manufacturers representative Cassidy & Company was named Top Revenue Growth Producer, while Great Lakes Incentive Group was recognized as the Top New Business Developer. Pilgrim Promotions, Ltd. secured the award for the Top in Customer Service Category, while Gretsch Incentives received the award in the Top Innovative Program Development Category. For the second year in a row, Award Marketing Services Inc. accepted the Most Indispensable Award.
Looking ahead, voting for the 15th Annual Sales Excellence Awards will take place next year in January and February; and the 2009 IMRA Marketing Conference will take place March 15 through March 18 in Florida at the Hilton Daytona Beach.
