Fairmont Monte Carlo Opens Willow Stream Spa June 29, 2009
The Fairmont Monte Carlo has opened a Willow Stream Spa as part of a $63.4 million refurbishment of the hotel, complete with a fitness center and roof deck. The nearly 9,700 sf spa has two couples experience suites with double tubs, dual steam showers and overhead rain showers, as well as an authentic hamman and experiential showers in the men's lounge area.
The fitness center features views of the Riviera coastline and Mediterranean Sea, as well as a private studio for aerobic, stretch, and yoga classes. The rooftop pool has 140 poolside chaise lounges, a central lounge area, and a pool bar.
The spa at Monte Carlo joins Willow Stream's 11 signature locations at Fairmont properties around the world, including Scottsdale; Banff, AB; Victoria, BC; Bermuda; Acapulco; Dubai, and Montreux, Switzerland. More Willow Stream spas are slated to open, including at Fairmonts in Beijing, Cairo, South Africa, Abu Dhabi, Morrocco, and Sanya, China.
