The New EPIC Hotel
September 26, 2008
By Jennifer Juergens

Incentive stopped by booth #1974 and said "Hi" to Eric Jellson, area director of sales and marketing or Scott Morgan, director of National Accounts at Kimpton's Epic Hotel and asked them about their newest property—so new it's not even open yet. It will open December 15. The new Epic in Miami boasts 411 rooms and an Exhale branded spa. "I think the hotel will take people by surprise," says Jellson.

On the bank of the Miami River where it meets Biscayne Bay, this exquisite addition to Miami offers guests an unmatched level of style and service.

Across the river from famed Brickell Avenue, the EPIC puts you in the financial entertainment venues, while the distinctive waterfront location boasts sweeping views of the Miami skyline, the Miami River and Biscayne Bay.

"It's downtown, on the water and small incentive groups will be able to leave right from our dock for deep sea fishing and other activities," says Jellson.

The hotel boasts two pools, is within walking distance from museums and shopping.

"With the dollar the way it is, we hope to introduce the hotel to international buyers and domestic planners who are not planning on going off shore or to Europe this year," Jellson says.

There are 43 Kimpton Hotels in the U.S. with more "coming to a theater near you," Jellson jokes.
