Maritz Partners With Cornell Center for Hospitality Research January 22, 2010
St. Louis-based motivation firm Maritz has become the newest partner of the Cornell Center for Hospitality Research (CHR). Maritz, which conducts customer satisfaction research, loyalty marketing, and motivation and learning programs, will work with the CHR to develop research that will inform best practices within the industry.
"The CHR is recognized for its reputable hospitality research on such issues as customer loyalty," said Maritz Senior Vice President and Hospitality Sector Lead Michele Sarkisian, who'll be joining the CHR's advisory board. "Given that Maritz runs customer, channel and employee loyalty programs for several top hotel firms, we see opportunities to collaborate with them."
Maritz procures more than 1.5 million room nights for clients annually, as well as implementing sales and customer experience programs for four top lodging companies.
