Globoforce Names Two New Key Executives to Management Team July 01, 2009 Grant Beckett appointed VP of product and Basak Ozer appointed VP of business development at recognition management company
Globoforce, the provider of global strategic employee recognition solutions, announced the appointment of Grant Beckett to the position of vice president of product and Basak Ozer to the position of vice president of business development. Both Beckett and Ozer will be based out of the company’s Southborough, MA, office.
A human resources technology industry veteran who brings nearly 20 years of HR software and services product management and marketing leadership to Globoforce, Beckett will lead the company’s product strategy initiatives, aligning them closely with the company’s global business development plan. Ozer brings 15 years of diverse high-technology business and executive management experience to Globoforce, and—with a proven background in business development, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning—Ozer will lead Globoforce’s efforts in market opportunities.
“[Beckett] brings an incredible depth of knowledge and experience in HR software-related technologies and products to Globoforce, having previously led these functions at such industry leading companies as Fidelity HR Services, Kenexa, Workscape, and PeopleSoft,” said Eric Mosley, CEO of Globoforce. “[Ozer] has held many key senior leadership roles in both business development and consulting at global technology companies like Honeywell, Tele Atlas, and Quattro Wireless."
Beckett most recently served as vice president of product management for HR outsourcing at Fidelity, where he launched the new business unit to provide outsourced HR services to midsize U.S.-based multinational companies. Ozer was global business unit director for a newly acquired sensor business at Honeywell, establishing growth objectives for its worldwide affiliates, resulting in a 32-percent increase in qualified leads. She went on to hold senior leadership positions at Tele Atlas, which was acquired by TomTom, as well as Quattro Wireless.
