Columbia Sportswear Omni-Shade Collection provides protection from the sun
By Jeanie Casison

Spending too much time in the sun is not good for anyone. However, new fabric technology that blocks harmful UV rays is now available with the Columbia Sportswear Company's Omni-Shade Collection. The apparel line is even recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation.

The Columbia Omni-Shade Collection is available to the corporate market through Alpha, a division of the Trevose, Pennsylvania-based BroderBros., Co., the largest distributor of trade, private label, and exclusive apparel brands to the imprinting, embroidery and promotional products industry.

According to Andrea Engel, vice president of merchandising of BroderBros., the Omni-Shade styles are particularly popular with construction team managers and beach and resort staff, as well as for outdoor events such as fishing tournaments. "Omni-Shade can give employers a great opportunity to recognize employees, especially those who spend work or leisure time outdoors," she says. "It's a wonderful way to add both a healthy lifestyle message and reward employees with top quality Columbia merchandise.

Among the current Omni-Shade best-sellers are the Tamiami shirts, the Men's Perfect Cast Polo and the Ladies Seabell Tech Polo.
